First, the fill-ins:
1. When I fell in love I was only 17 years old. I'll be 30 this summer.
2. I get all giddy when the flowers bloom and it heats up outside!
3. Oh no! The internet connection is down, I guess I could do the dishes. :(
4. Dr. Phil is the craziest tv show ever. Is he for real?
5. Cheese and grapes and pears and crackers make a great meal! Yum!
6. I don't think I could be truly happy without a garden.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to watching my DVR'd shows while Patrick goes to sleep reeeeeeeaaaalllly early, tomorrow my plans include cleaning (yuck) and Sunday, I want to get my kiddos and play in the yard!

Some Things We've Been Doing
I've been neglecting the blog lately, but only because we've been so busy! The kids have been having an absolute blast at our new house. They've made friends with all the neighborhood kids, and they've spent damn near all day every day playing outside, running around like hooligans, riding in little motorized cars, jumping on trampolines, swinging, sliding, and basically using up every last bit of energy they have.
Patrick and I are spending this weekend cleaning the old house. We were going to do it a couple of weeks ago, but we ate at the Chinese Super Buffet first and I got food poisoning. Blech. I haven't felt so awful.....well, ever! We decided to list it with a realtor rather than selling it ourselves, only because we've run out of energy and patience in dealing with it. So, we called Kate and got the sign in the yard. Everyone keep their fingers crossed....two mortgages really suck!
A cute story before I sign off and get some pizza: I was getting out of the shower yesterday, and Liam asked me, "Mommy? Where'd penis go?" I told him that Mommy is a girl, so I don't have a penis. He thought about it for a second, then said, "Oh. Go store, buy penis. Buy penis, Mommy." I let him leave the room before I burst out in hysterical laughter!
I'll update later with some new pictures...

We like the compass as a family image or logo. To us it represents many things on many levels, but foremost adventure and direction. A compass can help you get where you are going or find your way back home. It can also help you figure out where you are.
